Maxi Mounds Exotic Dancing

Following is an excerpt of an interview with Maxi Mounds about her new book "The Maxi Mounds Guide".

SCORE: What and who inspired you to write The Maxi Mounds Guide?Maxi: I was always curious about where exotic dancing came from and I always wanted to write a book to talk about what I do for a living. My friend Kama suggested combining the two and the result is my book.
SCORE: How long did the project take you from start to finish?
Maxi: It took about a year of non-stop working to put the book together, but it includes my diaries that I kept from years of being on the road.
SCORE: How did you first go about creating the book?
Maxi: I started keeping diaries of my experiences on the road several years ago so I guess the idea really started back then. Kama and I had been talking about this project for quite awhile because he is in the publishing business. After we got started, I went back and re-read everything I had written and he helped with the research in the history section.
SCORE: How did you feel inside when you first saw your completed book?
Maxi: I thought it was just awesome. It's pretty cool being a published author too. I feel like I've accomplished more with my life than I had hoped for.

Why do you think that very few dancers have written books like this before?Maxi: I honestly don't know but I think it's a subject that a lot of people will find interesting and enlightening.
SCORE: Besides store, mail order and the Internet, you'll probably have the book for sale at the clubs you perform in? Any plans for TV and radio promotion?
Are we going to see you on Jay Leno?
Maxi: We are working on setting up a lot of things like book signings and personal appearances. I’ll have copies of the book for sale wherever I dance. I’ve already done some radio interviews and I was in Chicago in June for the Chicago Book Expo.

"When I'm in clubs dancing, a lot of guys tell me, 'My wife won't do this or that,' said Maxi Mounds, who at six-feet-tall, 56-25-36, is the biggest-busted Amazon in the world. "Nine times out of 10, their women won't give them blowjobs.Either that or they use oral sex as a tool. 'Well, if you don't buy me this, then I'm not going to give you head.' My attitude has always been, why should I have to give you head to get anything? I give head because I totally enjoy it, just like I love getting head. There should never be a price tag on enjoying sex. You should please your partner just because you want to please your partner. "When guys say, 'She won't give me head,' my question is, 'Well, do you give her head?' and 50% say no. And I say, 'Well, there you go. Why should she be willing to go down on you if you're not willing to go down on her? Some of them say, 'She won't let me,' and I say, 'I guarantee if you make the mood right, make her feel comfortable, and do it right, she'll loosen up and let you do it.'
